The Changes I’ve Made to My Living Room in a Nutshell
You haven't seen this room in a long, and wow, has it changed. Why? Simply because it gives me great pleasure to reorganize my home and alter the styling in an attempt to make my home represent my family's personality, style, and comfort demands. It's a passion that became a profession, and like all unintentional creative company entrepreneurs, there's a lot less time to do the things you enjoy (i.e. styling my own house). So, with my 'free' time, I've been messing about, and with no deadlines (at least in this room), it's been a lot of fun. The bones of this space are strong, and the light is lovely, yet it never seems finished. And while nothing is ever completely perfect since your tastes and requirements change, I've never had the same reaction to this space as I do to the living room at the mountain house when I go in. I haven't organized any parties or events here for a reason, but I couldn't wait to hold a reader event up there to show it off! ...

Baby Nursery Room Designs That Aren’t Themed
Today, I'd like to respond to a commonly requested question. This is a question I hear from not only readers, but also from many of my young mother friends who are planning baby nurseries! You don't even have to go to a regular baby store to build a one-of-a-kind nursery! To have a memorable room for a baby, you don't need themed nursery furnishings (unless you want them). You may build a place for a baby that reflects styles you adore.. These rooms are fantastic examples of charming...

Homes of the Spanish style are ideal for warm, dry weather.
Spanish-style (Spanish mission style homes) houses are a direct result of their surroundings. Every decision you make when you live in a severe climate is focused on one thing: survival. As a result, Spanish architecture is well-suited to hot, arid climates, as it is constructed using locally accessible materials such as stone, soil, and clay.
