  1. Supermarket flowers– Bring in a range of different coloured African Violets and combine them together to create a curvy urn in your balcony or entrance. Care- Keep the plants away from direct afternoon sunlight as it would make the flowers weak. Water them regularly and lift the moss and soak the soil every time you water the plant. The soil of the plant should be kept moist all the time and avoid wetting the leaves for the plant to stay longer.

  1. Succulents Beauty– This miniature cactus flowers are an intriguing assemblage for adorning your homes. Bring in colourful pots and bring different types of pointy, shiny as well as matte plants and decorate them in a unifying pattern. Installing a backdrop behind the pots would add an extra flair of charm as it would magnify the greens and purples of the leaves in the most extravagant way.

Care- Do not water the plants too much, in fact the soil needs to be totally dry before you water them again. Put them under direct sunlight so that they grow strong.

  1. Towering tree– Trees like fiddle leaf fig comes under the towering plant category as they grow taller and not wider. These trees with their large leathery leaves can easily transform an empty corner to a focal point with their presence. Since they require large pots which become really difficult to move or replace, install wheels on the pot bottom. This way you cannot just change the placing of the pot but can easily vacuum the space as well by rolling it around. To make it mobile, bring in a pre-cut bluestone and set it upon a wheeled caddie. Wondering where to find a bluestone? You can easily get one from a landscape centre and it would not cost much. This cylindrical dark pot brings in an aura of modern and contemporary look and lets the focus be generated wholly on the fig tree.

Care- do not let the plant be in too much sunlight, give them just moderate light. Never keep it exposed to the bright afternoon sunlight. Water it thoroughly when the upper layer of the soil dries out.

  1. Orchid magic– Orchids are great addition for indoor décor plants. They are exotic plants and though really rewarding for your decoration but are tougher and harder to grow than any other regular plants. They can be easily considered as a long lasting bouquet that someone has gifted you and would stay magnificent for near about a month. Phalaenopsis orchids grow when exposed to light and humidity and unlike other plants they do not require soil to grow. When you are growing them indoors, fill the pot with tree barks, stones, tree fern and coconut shells which gives them maximum oxygen and water doesn’t stay in it. They require to be kept moist and hydrated so put the pot on gravel in low glass cylinder so that when the water evaporates, it gets trapped in the glass and can be reabsorbed by the orchid later. Bring in a plant that is shiny and firm with just few of its tiniest flowers open so that it would last longer. They work best when kept in the bathroom; you could also put them in window racks of your room.

Care- Keep them exposed to the direct morning sunlight but do not let them fade in the afternoon sunrays.

Meuhlenbeckia clipped into lollipop shape are house plant trend that everybody loves to adorn in their homes. They look relaxed and give the whole area a classic look. Bring one from a nearby nursery or order one online and let it enhance your living room with their fine structures. They do not need direct sunlight which is why they are great addition to adorn the centre of the room away from windows. You can put them in a table near the sofa or even as organic divider for a large room that has both dining and living room together. Put a galvanized tray under it to protect your carpets and sofa from water that you pour in once a while on the tree.
